Registering with a crypto exchange

There are hundreds of exchanges available from where you can buy and sell Cryptocurrency. The two most reliable and established exchanges are Binance and Coinbase.
The registration process is similar for each platforms as they both
adhere to a KYC (Know Your Customer) process. In this example we will use Binance.

1. Navigate to binance.com.

2. Click Register. Enter your Country of Residence.

3. Click to Create a Personal Account.

4. Enter your Email Address  and a Password. Click  Get Code and you will be sent a 6 digit number to your email address – copy and paste this into the Email Verification field to verify your email address.

5. Enter your Phone Number. You will be sent a 6 digit number to your phone number – enter this into the Phone Number Verification field to verify your number.

6. Then you will need to enter your personal information – enter your first name, last name, and date of birth. To verify your identity you will be asked to provide an identity document. This can be an ID card, Passport, Residence
permit, or Driver’s license. The website will prompt for access to your camera so you can take a photo of the front and back of the document.

7. Once this is completed your document will be reviewed and you will receive an email once successful.

That’s it. You are now registered and verified and able to move on to the next step.
